City Dogs
Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland is a 501 (c)(3), volunteer run organization established in April 2020 with the mission of providing the animals taken in by Cleveland Animal Care and Control (CACC) with medical care and enrichment during their time at the kennel, preparing them for adoption into loving homes, and creating opportunities for potential adopters to get to know them as the great family members they were meant to be. Friends of CITY DOGS Cleveland is CACC’s primary fundraising partner. CACC is the exclusive beneficiary of the Friends’ fundraising efforts.
Chasing Hope Therapy Foundation
Chasing Hope Therapy Foundation was created in honor of our son, Chase Savage. He was adopted through foster care, and suffered horrific abuse in infancy, causing severe brain damage. Due to his disabilities, he attends multiple therapies, many times a week. Hippotherapy is one of those, and we are fortunate to have the resources to cover his therapy. But we discovered many families do not as therapy sessions are very expensive and most hippotherapy providers do not take insurance, especially Medicaid due to poor reimbursement and excessive paperwork. We are hoping to bridge the gap for families that would benefit from hippo therapy, but may not be able to afford it.
Fox Tale Sanctuary
Fox Tale Sanctuary rescues and provides a forever, loving home for captive bred foxes. Our goal is to provide the best overall care to each fox that we are fortunate enough to help, as well as to educate the public about fox ownership and increase awareness surrounding the existence of fur farming in the United States
